Ok, so 15th June 2008 = A day to be remembered...
So, we were in sav's xat chat...
We were looking through the KH backgrounds, and found some yaoi of random characters...
Then we found Sora/Riku yaoi and decided to show skillz when he got here...
So, when he got here, we told him to refresh the page to see the background of the chat...
He was too scared to, so sav made him a guest, so the page refreshed...

Then, it turns out his 5 year old sister was behind him looking at the screen...

So now, he:
- Is grounded...
- Has to explain sex to a 5 year old...

One thing I'll never understand is why people think it's OK to flame someone just because they like something you don't like, and why people stereotype a large group of people just to annoy them. I'm not complaining, i'm just asking why they do it.

First of all, all I seem to be able to see on the general forum for the past 24 hours is people stereotyping and complaining about 13 year olds (there was also a topic about 12 year olds, but it was just a rip off of the topic about 13 year olds). They keep saying things like, "They can't spell right", "They always swear for no reason", "they love Naruto", "they are ALL immature"... I could go on all night. Now i'll admit, there are SOME immature and half-illiterate 13 year olds here, but you can't just call all 13 year olds dumb just because a handful of them are morons and/or alts. I'm not forcing you to like 13 year olds since it is your opinion, but you don't have to start 50 topics or say that ALL 13 year olds are immature because not all of them are. And I would never stereotype a 16 year old or someone over 20, even though I can think of 50 stereotypes at the moment...
Sorry for the over-the-top paragraph, but it had to be said. If you want to insult 13 year olds, do it in your userpage or something. We're humans too, you know, and people who start topics about us, knowing the forum is chocked full of that crap already, are the immature ones. And, as a wise NG member said yesterday: At the end of the day, we're all dumbfucks, no matter what your age is.

And age isn't the only stereotype; not long ago, it was lv 1 people who were stereotyped, and after that, 07 users. And once, I think people were stereotyped for their aura. What's next?!

And another thing, just because someone likes something you don't, whether it's in their user page or not, doesn't give you the right to insult them of what they like. For instance, a friend of mine likes Madness, and, not long ago, people were continuosly spamming in his profile, calling him 'gay' just because he likes the Madness series. What's wrong with Madness?

Anyway, what i'm saying is: no matter where it is, you really shouldn't insult or stereotype people because of their beleifs, age, tastes, whatever. You can if you want, but you should think about OTHERS when you make a stereotypical topic or flame somebody. Just try and be kind; some opinions are better left unsaid.
(Even if this is the internet.)

EDIT (15/10/07): It was my birthday on Saturday, so i'm now 14. But this doesn't mean I will stop defending 13 year olds. Why? Because i'll still remember the amount of abuse I got from assholes when I was 13. Hope this proves that OTHER people from different age groups can also defend 13 year olds.
